Thika United failed to keep alive there extreme chances to end up to a nil draw with visitors Western Stima at the Thika Municipal stadium today.

United who franticly raged at the Stima Keeper were noted trying to electrocute him with sizzling shots.

Stima defenders were though many times frustrated as the Uniteds strikers Paul Anunda and Stephen Kiaritha displayed brilliant runs but were not in a position to make it all along in scoring.

Paul Anunda missed to deliver the opener after beating the defenders and keeper to hit the ball wide.

In the same effort to counter Crispin Olando the team captain shot went wide and made the whole stadium jump shouting his name in glory.

The efforts were left barren when Denis Odhiambo shot went dangerously close but failed to hit the back of the net but still the keeper insisted that it was all in vain as he had a rough time catching Abdalla shot.

Coach Juma could not be in a position to comprehend how his boys failed to deliver the shots but he enthusiastically told thikaunited.com that he still has a chance into making it great this season thanks to his team.

The whole match was filled to capacity with dozens of fans cheering their favorite team, though some were disappointed they still claimed that Thika United was their club to support and are still proud.

United are now in a tricky position with five more games and more than three teams breathing behind their neck for the third position but Coach Abdalla Juma still has his hopes up for his boys.
