Coach Muyoti and Coach Ruto

Thika United under the tutelage of Nicholas Muyoti went into Sundays match dogged with numerous injuries, forcing five changes nearly in all departments as Keeper Boniface Barasa, Skipper Dennis Odhiambo, midfield sensation Said Tsuma, defender Baraka Badi and defender Chris Oruchum, who happen to be first team players were all sidelined.

Despite the changes Thika United did not disappoint as they gave the visitors a run for their money with numerous chances going begging in both halves; Moyoti expressed his desire to have the whole team as they take on League leaders Gor Mahia on Sunday 21st at Nyayo Stadium.

” We are greatful for the one point though we would have enjoyed three points better but we shall build from there,’ Muyoti also added,
“We have suffered a lot of injuries of late and made big changes in the playing unit but my prayer is to have a fully fit squad to choose from against Gor Mahia, and i know we shall be prepared.”

Thika United shall travel to Nairobi on Sunday 21st May to take on Gor Mahia at Nyayo Stadium, kickoff is scheduled at 4pm. Compiled by Ken_magu.
