Chibueze wins it for Thika United against Nzoia.

Nigerian import Onwudi Chibueze’s first-half goal earned Nicholas Muyoti’s Thika United FC- a home win over a hard fighting Nzoia FC,this afternoon in a SportPesa Premier League (SPL) hosted at Thika Sub County Stadium.

Said Tsuma capitalized on a defensive error in the box after the Sugar men had failed to clear Francis Muturi’s lofted pass into the penalty area and setting up Chibueze for a cool finish.

The Nigerian man should have made it 2-0 as his fierce shot whizzed inches wide before limping off the field with an injury forcing an early substitution for Thika United; Edmond Adem entered the fray.

Tsuma and Muturi were two of four additions to the Thika United side beaten 3-0 at Afraha by Sofapaka two weeks ago , replacing ¬†Shami Kibwana and Dennis Lewa, and the pair repaid their tactician’s faith by combining for Coach Muyoti’s second win since taking over as Head Coach.

Full time score 1-0.
