Two goals from Dan Serenkuma in each half and Darius Msagha goal before the break were enough to condemn Thika United to their third away loss in five matches.3-0 final result.
Captain Dennis Omino had a chance to put his team ahead courtesy of a 15th-minute penalty awarded after Baraka Badi was brought down in the box, Omino’s shot was well read by Okoth in Bandari’s goal, making a splendid save denying the visitors an early lead.
Thika United tried frantically to redeem themselves from the penalty miss blushes, but it was Bandari’s opportunity to convert their own penalty and the Ugandan import made no mistake sending Emase the wrong way.
Nandwa’s men seemed to struggle despite flashes of individual brilliance but the team flow was lacking and the midfield crumbled bringing a host of pressure to the back-line shipping in two easy goals, and the result was made worse by the sending off of Joel Tata, who will miss the next match after being adjudged to have retaliated after dangerous play on him.
Thika United will have to go back to the drawing board fast as the league gains momentum things are getting thicker and solutions to the winning formula have to be found.
