Thika United FC will on Sunday 18th February take on Coast based side Bandari FC, in their third Kenyan Premier League (KPL) fixture.
The Nicholas Muyoti coached side will be gunning for maximum points after a rather shaky start managing a single point in the first two matches.
The positive thing to note is that the team managed to discover a scoring touch through Clement Masakidi and Musa Saad in their 3-3 draw against Nakumatt away at Ruaraka last weekend.
Davies Agesa makes a comeback after a bout with malaria last week. Agesa was very impressive in his first match against Homeboyz and is expected to make the eighteen who will do battle with Bandari on Sunday afternoon.
Eugene Mukangula pulled a thigh muscle during training and will have a late fitness test to fully access the extent of his injury.
The last time Thika United hosted Bandari was in November 2017, and the match was decided by a strike by Shami Kibwana from a set piece, Thika United won 1-0.
The match is slated for a 3pm kickoff at Thika Sub-County Stadium.Compiled by Ken_Magu.
